I mainly use Testo-Max during my off-season. As a competitive bodybuilder, I tend to do a year of competitions and put my body through a lot. Training twice a day, drinking 6L of water every 24 hours and being in a heavy calorie deficit can really take its toll on the body and can leave me low on certain hormones.
Since using Testo-Max, I’ve found I’m able to maintain a lot of the size I have had during prep. My sex drive comes back quite quickly as does the thickness of my hair.
Testo-Max is not a miracle tablet. I still need to keep on top of my training and make sure my diet is ‘relatively’ good and protein is kept high- holding myself accountable.
With the right training, nutrition and supplementation, you can achieve whatever your goal may be.
Ash regularly competes and shares his top tips exclusively with CrazyBulkers!1. SET A STRONG GOAL
You may want to shed some body fat, gain some muscle or just feel fit, but no matter how your goals develop and progress, you need an starting point to work towards.
2. UNDERSTAND THE FUNDAMENTALS
If fat loss is the goal, you need to be in a calorie deficit whilst still getting enough protein in your diet. This helps to maintain muscle mass and support recovery. Secondly, make sure the training fits your goals and you enjoy what you’re doing. If you don't enjoy it, then chances are you won't stick to it!
3. GET A COACH
I do strongly recommend getting an online coach or PT, as they take the guesswork out of prep for you, keep you accountable and will update your plan when you need to enhance progression.
4. SUPPLEMENT RIGHT
Personally, when I'm in my off-season I use the following: CrazyBulk Testo-Max, Whey Isolate protein, EAA and Pre-workout. I find this stack works perfectly for me and my goals. When I'm in my off-season, I aim to stay lean year round.
5. DON’T BE TOO HARD ON YOURSELF
If you have a blowout or miss meals or a training session here and there, don't look at it as a failure. You're human, things happen. You haven't failed at all, just dust yourself off and keep pushing forward. This is where I see a lot of my clients begin to come undone- until I reassure them it's not the end of the world.
6. ENJOY THE JOURNEY
